Poketo - $28

Poketo how I love thee. I’ve previously only owned poketo wallets, and used them as a gift headache remover for women. Now add poketo t-shirt love to the mix, they’ve got a new site, new shirts, wallets, stationery, other new stuff (probably). The shirts are great, new designs from Leah Chun, Alex Noriega, Suzanne Husky, Marc Atlan and more. I expect the new wallet series is epic as well, I didnt actually look because I can’t afford to buy any

Having been asked by HipHipUK to post about some options for the ladies in the audience I decided to start with Squidfire. For anyone who hasn’t yet met Squidfire let me introduce you - Squidfire is the brain child of Jean-Baptiste Regnard (the business guy) and Kevin Sherry (the artist guy). Their purpose in life is to offer an alternative to the corporate giants [at which they are doing a grand job]. All of their t-shirts are designed and printed by hand which means some hard physical labour but it’s all worthwhile when you take a look at the end product.

Squidfire are a multi-trick pony offering a range of tees, bags, prints, childrens tee’s and even shoes! Almost a whole wardrobe if you’re a t-shirt wearing, bag holding, parent with feet and you supply your own trousers. I’ve picked out a few of my favourite designs below.

I think Threadless’ push for new and innovative design concepts in the “loves threadless” comp, is showing in the overall competition as well with this weeks winners.
